The newly unveiled Shadowlands Festival, set to descend upon Canterbury’s Gulbenkian Arts Centre from July 1–4, 2027, has sent shockwaves through the alternative music community with an initial lineup boasting industrial and electronic titans Test Dept and Portion Control. Billed under the banner “The Outside of Everything,” the boutique, 450-capacity event will serve as a massive live platform for both acts as they showcase and support their latest material released via independent powerhouse Artoffact Records. Electronic music enthusiasts can expect an aggressive fusion of classic electronic body music and experimental sonics, with Portion Control slated to bring heavy-hitting cuts to the stage alongside Test Dept’s newly remastered industrial onslaughts. Early bird tickets for the four-day debut festival are currently available for £240 at the official website, with a second wave of artists scheduled to be announced this August.
