Los Angeles will once again become a haven for dark music enthusiasts as Substance Festival returns on November 7th and 8th, 2025. This year’s edition promises a potent lineup, headlined by the highly anticipated return of TR/ST, who will be performing their first two seminal albums, “TRST” and “Joyland,” in their entirety across both nights at the historic Belasco Theater. Fans will be treated to the brooding synth-pop and evocative vocals that defined these early releases, making for an exclusive and deeply nostalgic experience.
Joining TR/ST in this celebration of the alternative and the shadowy are a compelling array of artists, including the industrial grit of ADULT., the sonic assault of A Place to Bury Strangers, and the unique synth stylings of Geneva Jacuzzi. The lineup further boasts the talents of Martin Dupont, Qual, Xeno & Oaklander, Sacred Skin, Soft Vein, and Night in Athens, with promises of more acts to be announced.
