Post-Punks Bootblacks and The Discussion Announce Spring 2026 East Coast Run

Two of the most compelling names in the modern darkwave and post-punk scenes are joining forces this spring. Brooklyn’s own Bootblacks and the atmospheric heavyweights The Discussion have officially announced a joint East Coast tour for March 2026.

The 11-date trek kicks off on March 5th in Savannah and carves a path through the Eastern U.S. and Canada, culminating in a highly anticipated hometown show for Bootblacks in New York City and a final stop in Philadelphia.

The tour comes on the heels of a massive year for both artists. Bootblacks are currently touring in support of their latest Artoffact Records release, Paradise. The album has been hailed as a “lush, 80s-inspired electronic soundscape,” marking a sophisticated evolution from their grittier, angular post-punk roots. Featuring collaborations with the likes of Chris Vrenna (Nine Inch Nails), Paradise has solidified the band’s reputation as a premiere live act capable of blending club-ready synths with deep, melancholic grit.

Joining them is The Discussion, led by the formidable Laura Pleasants (best known for her work in the sludge-metal outfit Kylesa). The Discussion offers a cinematic, psych-infused take on post-punk that is as haunting as it is heavy. Their latest material under the Artoffact banner, including the acclaimed All the Pretty Flowers, provides a perfect atmospheric counterpoint to Bootblacks’ high-energy “dark disco” aesthetic.
