Substance Festival has unveiled its initial lineup for 2025, promising a potent two-day experience for fans of dark electronic and alternative music. Set to take place on Friday, November 7th and Saturday, November 8th at The Belasco in Los Angeles, the festival will feature headlining performances by TR/ST on both nights. Notably, TR/ST will be performing their first two albums, “TRST” and “Joyland,” in full. Friday’s lineup also boasts an impressive array of artists including Adult, A Place To Bury Strangers, Geneva Jacuzzi, Martin Dupont, Nuxx, Magic Wands, Topographies, Ronnie Stone, Taleen Kali, and Dildox, with more artists still to be announced.
The excitement continues into Saturday, November 8th, with TR/ST returning to headline. The day’s roster is further bolstered by the addition of several compelling acts, including Artoffact recording artists Sacred Skin and SOFT VEIN. Qual, Xeno & Oaklander, Night in Athens, Void Palace, Automelodi, Normal Bias, and Sleek Teeth also join. A significant new addition to the Saturday bill is Seattle’s own Nox Novacula, known for their distinctive blend of deathrock and post-punk, further solidifying the festival’s commitment to showcasing diverse and influential artists within the scene. With a strong lineup already in place and more announcements expected, Substance 2025 is shaping up to be a must-attend event for enthusiasts of the genre.
