Montreal, QC – Get ready for a sonic and visual onslaught this fall as Artoffact Records heavyweights Kontravoid, Encephalon, and Ayria are slated to headline the newly announced AMP Festival. Taking over the legendary Les Foufounes Electriques on October 10th, 11th, and 12th, 2025, this immersive industrial experience promises three nights of electrifying performances and a celebration of the genre’s diverse landscape.
Fans of hard-hitting EBM will be thrilled to witness the intense and visceral live show of Kontravoid. Known for his stark, rhythmic soundscapes and commanding stage presence, Kontravoid, the project of Toronto-based Cameron Findlay, is sure to deliver a powerful and unforgettable experience.
Joining him is Ottawa’s own Encephalon, bringing their signature blend of intelligent dance music, dark electro, and industrial textures. Their intricate sound design and thought-provoking lyrics have earned them a dedicated following, and their performance at AMP Fest is highly anticipated.
Rounding out the Artoffact contingent is the dynamic and captivating Ayria. The project of Jennifer Parkin, Ayria seamlessly fuses electronic body music with elements of synthpop and darkwave, creating a unique and compelling sound. Her energetic performances and powerful vocals are a staple of the industrial scene.
Beyond these stellar Artoffact artists, AMP Fest boasts an impressive lineup featuring a total of 21 live performances spanning the breadth of industrial music, from EBM and post-punk to coldwave, IDM, experimental, and techno.
With two rooms pulsating with sound and visuals, AMP Fest aims to unite the industrial scene for an unparalleled weekend of music and culture. This is a must-attend event for anyone passionate about the darker, more electronic side of music.
