Anton Koba started his musical career in 2020. Initially, he released songs in Russian but withdrew most of them after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. He briefly experimented with Ukrainian-language songs, releasing three tracks, but ultimately focused on English-language material due to his relocation to Germany. A large part of his audience is now located in the United States.
In 2021, Routine released the debut album Secret Window on vinyl, blending post-punk, Detroit techno influences, analog synthesizers, and electric guitars. After moving to Germany in late 2022, one of his most successful tracks has been “Feeling Low,” which reached around 500,000 streams on Spotify by January 2025. Artoffact Records spotted a unique talent, and instantly signed Routine to a multi-album worldwide deal.
