HALLOWS is a Los Angeles based dark electronic duo formed by Vanee Dusoruth and Dom Rolando. Their music balances melody and gloom, blending eighties synth influence with modern electronics, disco, and punk to explore themes of unease, longing, and emotional resolve.
HALLOWS began in 2019 with the EP Subtle on experimental label Phage Tapes. Their debut album All That Is True (2021, Cold Transmission Music) introduced the fan favorite “All That Is True Dies” and sent the band on its first United States tour, including appearances at Absolution Fest, Darkspring Boston, and Freakout Fest. Their second full length, A Quieter Life (2023, Stoic Media), expanded their sound with tracks such as “Talk To Me” and “Things That Hurt,” paired with performances at Substance Fest, Verboden Fest, and Sanctum.
In 2025, HALLOWS joined independent label Artoffact Records, a home to many impactful artists across underground scenes. That same year they completed their first European and United Kingdom tour and continued steady touring across North America. Their third full length record, “Dream,” on Artoffact Records, builds on this momentum and marks a new stage of growth for the duo.
